This afternoon, all the new arrivals to Brooke House Summer School went into Market Harborough town centre and completed an orientation to find our way around the town and see where the important places (like starbucks!) are. We also completed a photograph competition to see who could take the most creative pictures from a list of possible ideas. For the rest of us, we all went 10 pin bowling.
We were in small teams and we played 2 games again each other to see who was the best. The winners were Carlotta, Alex and Dimitry!!. We also had a chance to play on some of the arcade games that were there once we had finished bowling.
In the evening, there was a dodgeball competition. We split into teams and took it in turns to beat the opposition using our skill and team tactics. Those that did not play dodgeball had the choice of going to a movie night in the PK, where we watched the Lego Movie, playing on the computers, painting our nails or making jewelry.
