Today we had our first morning of lessons. We spent some time getting to know our teachers and our class mates and began our work. After lunch, the English Plus students started their afternoon classes. The theme for this week is British culture, and involves some lessons on the topic and then a big group project.
This afternoon was also the first day for activities. We went to the leisure centre and played various different sports, including tennis, badminton, football and rounders.
In the evening, we had our first 'options' night, where we could choose an activity to do. Today, we had the choice of arts and crafts, jewelry making, computers, volleyball, playing in a table tennis tournament or watching the World Cup Semi Final game between Brazil and Germany on the big screen.
