All of our recent arrivals traveled to
Stratford-upon-Avon for a tour around the birthplace of Shakespeare, and then a
walking tour around the picturesque and historical surrounding of the
ancient town, ending in some free time for students to explore and purchase
gifts and mementos to their heart's content. Our longer term students all
traveled to nearby Stretton Circuit, an 850m outdoor Championship karting
circuit for an adrenaline packed afternoon, pitting themselves
against each other in fully powered karts, to see who is the best driver at
Brooke House Summer School! In the evening we all traveled back to
the college for dinner, and then settle down into a relaxed night of options,
with mug painting, baking cupcakes, and playing dodge-ball being
among the activities on offer.
