Week 5 - Weekend

On Saturday, the new students all travelled to London today for our famous sightseeing tour, which starts in Greenwich where we catch a boat to Westminster (which even travels under Tower Bridge). We then disembarked and saw some famous sights on foot, including Parliament, 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. The students then got to enjoy some free time to explore the sights and buy mementos and gifts for family back home.

The other students travelled to the London Science Museum where they saw real life dinosaur skeletons, an actual moon rock (!) and many more interesting exhibits. Afterwards we travelled to Knightsbridge for shopping time in the world famous department store Harrods.

On Sunday, the new students  went to Alton Towers! We enjoyed a full day of exciting and adrenaline packed rides, including Galactica, a the world's first dedicated Virtual Reality roller coaster, Oblivion, and Nemesis... not forgetting the log flumes and river Rapids experienced which always ensure we get soaking wet!

The other students travelled to Liverpool where they visited the Beatles museum and they could enjoy their free time exploring the city.
