It was a special day in Brooke House today because it is the last day that all students for week 1&2 are going to be together :(
However students and staff remained upbeat the prospect of a special shopping afternoon in Leicester, providng students with the opportunity to buy presents, and a magical farewell party at night with a disco and barbecue.
The farewell party was a great success, Robert kicked off proceedings by bidding fareweel to the french group, italian group, some of the spanish group and a few individuals... the ceremony then moved onto English certificates for students who are leaving, some presents for the leaders of the groups, prizes for the best in sport and the winners of Quiz Night, Wacky Races and Orientation. At the end of the ceremony everybody enjoyed a video of the best memories of these two weeks.
After the ceremony, students and staff came back to BH to enjoy the disco and the barbecue, there were a lot of kisses, hugs and some tears!!
