Today saw temperatures soar upwards again into the low 30´s as students and staff visited London!! After a brief tour around Greenwich Observatory, students took to the water via the sightseeing boat which allowed them to see London from an alternative viewpoint (and meant less walking in the blistering heat). The boat dropped students off at Westminster Abbey, and the tour continued via foot towards Buckingham Palace and onto Piccadilly Circus via the picturesque Green Park.
Students were then granted free time to roam the shopping delights of Central London (however it seems the girls tended to spend most of their time getting their pictures taking with the Abercrombie and Fitch models!)
After a fun, yet tiring day in the sun, students retired early to their accommodation to get some much needed rest in anticipation of tomorrow’s excursion to Alton Towers!
