After a good night's rest, day one of summer school started with students taking their English tests to determine their ability so they could be separated into classes for the weeks to follow.
Following Lunch, students were split into random groups to be taken for activities. As hoped for the weather continued to delight both staff and students, and it made for a wonderful afternoon, where students had to navigate Market Harborough and Foxton Locks with the help of Activity Leaders. (A few ice creams were consumed)
The evening activities allowed students to pick between playing football or exploring their artistic sides through the creation of jewellery and nail art. Spirits were high and some great talents were displayed on and off the football pitch.
Tomorrow promises to be an exciting affair with the beginning of English classes and a disco in the evening.
